
What profession did you enter into, and what would you consider to be your greatest joy about doing the work you do?
I am a Physiatrist (Specialist Doctor in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation). I enjoy working with my large specialized multidisciplinary Amputee Rehabilitation and Prosthetic and Orthotic team members.
What led you to become involved with ISPO?
ISPO is a great society to connect with other clinicians and researchers. I enjoy the ISPO educational, research, and conference events.
What impact do you think ISPO has had on persons accessing assistive devices and rehabilitation services?
ISPO promotes high quality P&O care and advocates for individuals to access assistive devices. ISPO sets standards for P&O provision and recommends clinically relevant outcome measures to ensure P&O devices improve function and quality of life.
Are there any current professional projects that you are engaged in?
Digital Fabrication of P&O devices with 3D printing (FDM and Fusion Jet Printers)
