Our Mandates
The OPJRC’s mandates are to:
- Establish national research priorities
- Coordinate national research efforts
- Support innovation and knowledge translation
- Foster evidence-based practice
- Serve as a knowledge and data resource for the profession
The Research Database
To foster collaboration among clinical professionals, researchers, students, and industry partners, OPJRC is creating a self-enrolled online directory of Canadian O&P researchers. We seek to do this to propose the development of interdisciplinary teams which are more likely to accelerate collaboration, drive innovation, improve data sharing, increase productivity, and develop evidence that translates into clinical practice. This directory offers a unique opportunity to:
- Identify and promote O&P researchers across Canada
- Connect with collaborators on shared research priorities
