Accessibility for People with Lower Limb Loss

Our research project is titled, “Barriers and facilitators to community accessibility in people with lower limb loss”. We are recruiting people with lower limb loss to participate in an online survey. Our goal is to identify how the physical environment, both the natural and built environment, impact accessibility for people with lower limb loss.

The study involves the completion of an online survey. The survey should take 15 to 20 minutes to complete. You will participate anonymously. It can be completed anywhere you have access to the Internet. By completing the survey, you are consenting to participate in the study.We are seeking people 18 years of age and older, have a major lower limb amputation at the level of the ankle and above, amputation can be on one or both sides, at least 3 months after surgery for the amputation, using a prosthesis for more than transfers, no longer receiving rehabilitation to use the prosthesis, able to provide informed consent and able to understand English.
